Joint Response to House Fire

Firefighters extinguishing flames on the second floor of a blue two-story house. Smoke rises as water is sprayed onto the burning area. A person in a hoodie stands on the ground near the building. Snow and hoses are visible on the ground.

At approximately 0820 this morning, the North Bellmore Fire Dept was alerted for a house fire. First due units – Engine 654 and Ladder 657 responded, got quick water on the fire and ensured all occupants were out of the house. Thankfully the fire was quickly knocked down before causing too much damage to the interior of the home. Thank you to all of the neighboring departments that responded to assist us this morning.
