The North Bellmore Fire Department was founded in 1923. Since that time, we’ve grown to have more than 150 dedicated volunteers who operate our fleet of 15 fire, EMS, and rescue vehicles on more than 1,000 calls per year.

We serve the North Bellmore municipal area as well as portions of Bellmore, East Meadow, North Merrick, and Wantagh, pursuing our mission to preserve the lives and property of our community. We operate two firehouses, both centrally located on Newbridge Road, one north and one south of the Southern State Parkway.
