This weekend Nassau County Police Department’s Aviation Unit provided training to the North Bellmore Fire Department’s Fire and EMS personnel on medical emergency evacuation (“Medevac”) situations. It is important for both of our agencies to work together and understand each other’s roles to ensure safe, smooth and efficient care and transportation of patients.
